I’m a writer, editor, and college instructor. I’m also a recent graduate in Technical Communication at the University of North Texas.

Tech Comm Practicum
This video outlines the TECM 5640 practicum I completed at Upword Resume.
For my practicum, I worked as a technical writer, team lead, and instructional designer. I designed and developed an onboarding and training program for new hires.
Screencasting
For this Digital Literacies (TECM 5191) project, I created a screencast with Camtasia. The 2.5 minute screencast is a quick-start guide for new hires of Upward Resume using Monday project management software.
A/B Testing: Voice and Tone Analysis
For this Style in Technical Writing (TECM 5190) group project, my team conducted an A/B test to determine which tone of voice Nada should use for the “Our Story” portion of their “About Us” web page. Our goal was to evaluate Nada’s performance as a brand by determining how potential customers respond to their brand voice.
User Research Report
For this Usability and User Experience (TECM 5750) project, I created a Qualtrics survey to study the customers of FiiZ Drinks in Spring, TX. The purpose was to learn about current customers in order to target new customers.
iFixit Instructions
For this Principles of Technical Communication (TECM 5185) project, I collaborated with iFixit.com to create a 13-step online instruction guide for changing the Sediment Pre-Filter Replacement for the Aquasana F-300R 300,000 Gallon Whole House Water Filtration System.
Document Design
For this Designing Technical Documents (TECM 5280) project, I re-designed an employee handbook for Western Colorado University’s Intramural Sports Department using Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.
